Baking soda has exfoliating properties which may remove excess oil and dead skin from the scalp. It also has an anti-bacterial property which fights fungus causing dandruff. Use of baking soda should be moderate as it can remove natural oils from hair causing dryness and itching.

Apple Cider Vinegar

Method- Mix two cups of apple cider vinegar with three cups of cold water and rinse your hair with it let it sit for 5 mins before washing your hair.

Method- Crush garlic and rub it directly on the scalp on the affected area. The smell is a big concern in this treatment. Hence, mix honey to it and massage on the scalp. Then rinse with cold water apply shampoo if necessary to get rid of the smell.
